The European Press Prize welcomes entries for 2019 edition of the prize .

From November 1st until December 14th you can submit your projects on their website. Any journalist from Europe or working for a European media outlet can submit work. Shortlisted articles will be translated into English and re-published across Europe and winners receive a ten thousand euro prize.  You can submit your project for the following categories:

Investigative Reporting Award – For discovering and revealing facts, exposing hidden news to the public. Last year’s winner: The Monsanto Papers by Stéphane Horel and Stéphane Foucart.
Distinguished Reporting Award – For exceptional reporting, telling a story in the best possible way. Last year’s winner: The Human Catcher by Michael Obert.Opinion Award – For a remarkable textual interpretation of the world we live in. Last year’s winner:  The third shooting of the boy Petar from Konjic by Dragan Bursać.

Innovation Award – For challenging the current boundaries of journalism with a new idea or method. Last year’s winner: Bureau Local by Megan Lucero, Maeve McClenaghan, Gareth Davies, Charles Boutaud and Kirsty Styles
